Sat 11/10 - Basic Faceting - Learn to cut your own gemstones.. Each student will learn how to cut a round gem from synthetic garnet, including pre-forming, dopping, cutting and polishing. The class will be two sessions with the first one involving preforming the stone and cutting the pavilion or bottom of the stone and preparing it for the cutting, which will be done in the second session.
