Sat 10/27 - Third Eye Comics Halloween Comic-Fest - Free comics, free candy and big savings. Third Eye’s events are always like a mini-Comic Con and being Halloween, it should be an extra great time to get out and show off your costume or see what others show up as.

Maryland STEM Festival - 480+ events all around MD, from makerspaces to libraries to schools, all kinds of groups are participating. Check the MD STEM Festival website for information about events in your area!

Sat 10/27 - MD-National Capital Park & Planning Commission (M-NCPPC)’s is hosting their Annual STEAM Fest in Upper Marlboro to bring out the inner STEAM power in PG Co’s youth by providing engaging and fun programming in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math.

Many halloween events coming up including:

ArBOOretum at the Cylburn Arboretum (Baltimore) tomorrow night (10/26) where kids can explore the spooky mansion, trick or treat around the gardens, listen to creepy music and learn about bats, owls, spiders and other nocturnal wildlife with DNR Naturalists. Live raptors and reptiles from Carrie Murray Nature Center as well as El Gringo and Wilde Thyme Food trucks and seasonal food items like hot soup, apple rings, pumpkin beignets, hot cider and cocoa!

Also BOOtanica at Brookside Gardens in Silver Spring, also tomorrow night (10/26). Garden costume parade, paint a pumpkin, treat pumpkin treats, top the evening off by listening to award-winning storyteller Gary Lloyd present “Pumpkin Tales for the Young”, with stories more funny than scary.
