Let's make DECORATIVE SIGNS with CRICUT

Join us for a fun evening making decorative signs with the ever-popular Cricut machine! Beginners and experienced Cricut users are welcome!

In this workshop we will cover the basics of creating a decorative sign including:

• wood prep, painting and staining of the background and frame
• project design in Cricut Design Space
• Cutting the design in vinyl, prepare it for transfer
• applying the vinyl to the sign
• final assembly and framing

If you have a laptop and/or a Cricut machine of your own, we encourage you to bring it with you to the class (and also your standard grip cutting mat). Please download and install Cricut Design Space from the link HERE onto your PC prior to the class and browse the library for sign ideas. A paid Cricut subscription is not required.

For participants who do not have this equipment, we have PCs at the shop and there will be at least 2 Cricut machines for participants to use to complete their projects.

CLASS FEE (includes all materials):

• $10 (material fee) for subscribing members of Annapolis Makerspace.
