Annmarie Sculpture Gardens down in Solomons has a bunch of online activities going on

Today 5/7 - Green Queen’s Art Scene - A virtual art lab aimed at reducing, reusing, recycling common household items while learning fun art and craft techniques

Tomorrow 5/8 - Nature Notes with Hester Burch, their staff Naturalist. She explores what’s in bloom and what’s new in their park.

Mon 5/11 at 2pm, they have ArtsPark: Virtual Family Art Hour where they show you how to build your own sculpture park playsets inspired by the art and nature at Annmarie Sculpture Gardens, exploring a different sculpture each week that you can recreate out of household items.

Tuesday 5/12 is their Behind the Brush: Virtual Home Studio Series with a peek inside local artists’ home studios to see their latest works in progress.

The Kid Museum up in Bethesda has some fun stuff online. Check out their Make It! Live and Make It! DIY pages on their website for fun activities project of the day workshops for kids with Making Music tomorrow, Kinetic Sculptures on Monday and Mini Mobile Challenge on Wednesday pre-recorded activities include making a cipher wheel, invisible ink, a laser maze (using streamers or tape), secret compartments or your own a spy kit.

B&O Railway Museum has all their previous storytimes and activities recorded and ready to watch any time, they now have 13 of them! Coming up today is a new one with Today I’m a Monster.. Reading the book then designing your own breathing wand to help practice focus and controlled breathing in conjunction with the Children’s Mental Health Matters campaign..

Code Ninjas in Edgewater are offering online mentoring in coding and math for kids, Tuesdays through Saturdays. You can sign up online for a time slot
