Next Tuesday/Wednesday, the Lyrids meteor shower should be hitting peak. If the weather is nice and the skies are clear, it might be a nice night to get out and take a look at the skies. Thanks to the Howard Astronomical League for the reminder.

Annapolis Makerspace
At Annapolis Makerspace, we’ve been closed but we’re doing what we can to help. Working with Open Works and their Makers Unite initiative, more than a hundred makers around the area have been working on 3D printing face shield assemblies for local emergency and health care providers as well as homeless shelters and others who need to protect their workers from infection. There seems to be no end to the demand, currently, so we’ll keep 3D printing as quickly as possible.
Annapolis Makerspace is also looking into helping laser cut acrylic boxes to help protect those health care workers doing intubation of covid-19 patients. And any other projects that come up that we can help with.
If you know of a local healthcare provider who is in need of protective equipment, let us know and we’ll try to get you in touch with someone who can help.
We’re working on moving some of our regular workshops online...
Tues - Monthly CAD/CAM Fusion 360 Workshop held online - We’ll post the link to the online stream the night of the event.
